Hey! I’m Mecca. I’m a Graphic Designer from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and a recent PennWest Edinboro Grad of Spring 2024. I focus mainly on Motion and Publishing Design.

Right now, I’m part of a small creative team at Naughty Cocktail Parties LLC, where I work as their sole catalog and product designer. We create beauty, skincare, and sexual exploration products, all with a retro 1950’s twist.

Outside of my 9-5, I also volunteer at Nose 2 Tail Cat Rescue, where I help out with creating artwork and designs for fundraisers and events. When I’m not designing for anyone in particular, I’m usually doodling or making fun stickers to trade with other artists. Music has always influenced a lot of what I do, even today.

I played flute and tenor sax all throughout both high school and college and was a member of Kappa Kappa Psi throughout my whole time at Boro. Before my design career took off, I worked as a barista (and still sometimes do) on the weekends.

When I’m off the clock, I’m usually out wandering off. I love urban exploration, making fairy gardens, going to concerts, collecting records, and going on random road trips to places that don’t really have a point except to be fun. I’ve got a lot of niche hobbies and a soft spot for the smallest details in life, which is probably why I got hooked onto this whole design thing, I guess!
